-Logistics to Know-

Getting There and Home

 

Attendees will be meeting the group in Asheville, NC on the morning of September 28th, and transported to the location of the retreat. Specific details will be provided via email following registration. 

If you are flying for the retreat you will need to book your flight into Asheville Regional Airport (AVL). 

Airfare is not included in the cost of registration.

Physical Demands

 

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we encourage participants to be in good physical condition. You should be able to comfortably walk up to 4-5 miles including varying grades uphill. What Registration Cost Includes

​

  • Lodging in modern-glamping tents for three nights at our retreat center. You have the option of a private tent, a two-person tent (double), a community tent (quad), or rustic camping in your own tent on the property. The retreat center is located on a small farm in the beautiful mountains in Western North Carolina, where you will be greeted by horses, chickens and Buddy the mini Donkey! You will be surrounded by picturesque views and fresh mountain streams. Your modern glamping tents come equipped with all bedding, as well as an electric blanket to keep you toasty on chilly nights and fans to keep your tents breezy. There is large indoor workshop space, rejuvenating warm outdoor showers and plenty of private spaces to nurture in nature.

 

  • Food will be provided throughout the retreat. At this event, we prioritize whole body health, so we will be serving freshly prepared, nutritious meals made with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We will take note of any food allergy or dietary restrictions mentioned during registration, and will cater to them individually.

 

  • Facilitated Experiences including:

    • Exclusive in-person lecture, coaching, and guidance from Elizabeth and Jennifer

    • Guided hikes through the Nantahala National Forest

    • An easeful float down a lazy river (weather permitting)

    • Instructor-led somatic movement and emotional processing

    • Nature-Based Contemplative Practices
